"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

Welcome to the website of the North and Central Merrick Community Association. The NCMCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the community of North and Central Merrick. We hold our meetings once a month at the North Merrick Library at 7:00 PM. Please check our calendar for next meeting date. All are welcome to attend.

Our goal is to help our neighbors navigate through the bureaucracies of local government, work with the police to protect our families, address the needs of the community and improve the quality of life for the people in  Merrick, NY.

A community united can accomplish great things!

The NCMCA offers community service opportunities for your children.  Volunteering with NCMCA develops a strong sense of community in our youth, pride in the betterment of our neighborhoods and an understanding of how one can really make a difference in the world.

Volunteer opportunities range from stuffing envelopes to helping to prepare for and participate in community events.

Please call Claudia Borecky at 972-6988 or email if your children are interested in participating in our community service program.

The NCMCA is a 501c3 volunteer organization and all officers and board members serve at no cost. Your membership fees are our only source of income and help us cover our expenses. Annual membership fees are $20 per family.
